What we fix

Why good stores get left out of AI answers

Most owners who call us are living with at least one of these. Tap or hover over each one to see how we fix it.

Invisible

"ChatGPT names our competitors, not us."

Ask AI what to buy in your category and it lists your rivals and "best of" sites instead of you.

How we fix it+

We find the questions your buyers ask AI, fix what stops assistants reading your store, and earn mentions on the sites they cite. You see the change in your monthly AI Answer Check.

Skipped

"We rank on Google, but AI answers skip us."

Page one on Google, yet AI Overviews and ChatGPT quote someone else.

How we fix it+

We find the gap: pages AI can't read, answers your pages don't give, and sources that don't mention you. Then we close it.

In the dark

"We have no idea what AI says about us."

Does ChatGPT name you? Get your prices right? Send buyers to a rival? Nobody can tell you.

How we fix it+

Every month we ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity your buyers' questions, many times over, and report how often you're named.

Misquoted

"AI gets our products wrong."

Old prices, missing products or the wrong specs. Buyers trust the answer and move on.

How we fix it+

We make your product data match everywhere AI reads it: your pages, your feeds and your product schema.

Shoppers who come from AI answers converted 48% better than other visitors in August 2026 (Adobe).
Every answer that names a rival is a sale you never see.

GEO vs SEO

GEO vs SEO: what changes when buyers ask AI

✕yourstore.com: not named

One written answer. A few brands get named. The rest don't.

What stays the same

Google says its AI answers need nothing extra beyond normal search: pages it can crawl and index, content that helps buyers, and trust from other sites. And OpenAI says stores that block its search bot won't show up in ChatGPT search answers.

SEO gets you found. GEO gets you recommended. We run both as one plan.

Technical GEO

Why GEO needs even more technical care than SEO

Google renders your pages and comes back when a page fails. Most AI assistants don't. Many read a page's plain HTML once, sometimes while the buyer waits for an answer.

If something is hidden, blocked or wrong, they skip you or get it wrong.

What we check and fix

Bots let in

Your robots.txt, Cloudflare and firewall settings let search and AI bots in. Some "block AI bots" settings now block Google and Bing too.

Key content in the HTML

Prices, stock, reviews and specs sit in the page's HTML, not only in apps that load after the page opens.

Product data that matches

The same price, stock and specs on your pages, in your product schema and in your Google Merchant Center and Shopify feeds.

Clean product URLs

One stable URL per product and variant, no filter traps and no dead links. In one study, AI crawlers hit missing pages about 4 times as often as Googlebot.

Fresh pages and feeds

Prices and stock updated when they change, and pages kept current. Most AI assistants prefer newer pages.

A fast, stable store

Pages that load quickly and don't time out, so a live fetch doesn't fail.

What we won't sell you: an llms.txt file. No major AI company has said it uses them, and 97% of them got zero requests in May 2026 (Ahrefs).

Our GEO services

Everything your store needs to get recommended, done for you

One plan with clear targets, run by the same senior team every month.
Here's what's in it.

Technical GEO

A store AI can read

Bots let in, key content in the HTML, clean product URLs and a fast, stable store.

We check what each assistant can actually see.

Product data

Product data AI trusts

Titles, prices, stock, specs and reviews that match across your pages, your schema, Google Merchant Center and your Shopify catalog.

Shopping answers in ChatGPT and Google are built from this data.

Answer-ready pages

Pages that answer buyers' questions

Category pages, product pages and buying guides that answer what buyers ask AI, in plain words AI can quote: who it's for, how it compares, what it costs.

Mentions

Mentions where AI looks

AI answers draw on sites beyond yours: reviews, forums, videos, retailers and "best of" lists, and the mix keeps shifting.

We earn your brand a place in the sources that matter for your category right now.

Measurement

Your AI Answer Check, every month

We ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity your buyers' questions many times over and report how often you're named, next to sales from AI referrals in GA4.

SEO and GEO

Built on SEO

Google's AI answers draw on Google Search, and strong rankings go hand in hand with AI mentions.

So your GEO and SEO run as one plan.

More about e-commerce SEO

We work inside your platform and your accounts: Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress and Webflow, plus Google Merchant Center, Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.

How we work

How we build and run your GEO strategy

No black box. Here's how the work runs, from the first check to every month after, and what you see at each step.

At the start

Check where you stand

We ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity the questions your buyers ask, check what AI bots can see on your store, and find the sites AI trusts in your category.

You get: your AI visibility baseline.

At the start

Build the plan

We pick the buyer questions that lead to sales, then the pages, product data and sources to work on first. Targets come from your own data, not industry averages.

You get: a clear plan with targets you approve.

Every month

Do the work

Our senior specialists fix technical issues, keep your product data in sync, improve your pages and earn mentions on the sites AI cites. All inside your own accounts.

You get: the work done for you, on your platform.

Every month

Measure and adjust

Your AI Answer Check across many asks, AI referral traffic and sales from GA4, and a call to plan the next month. What works gets more effort. What doesn't gets changed.

You get: honest numbers, good news or bad.

The usual pace

In the first weeks

First fixes live

Blocked AI bots are often the first fix, and OpenAI says ChatGPT search picks that up in about 24 hours. Then hidden content moves into the HTML and product data gets cleaned up.

Months 2 to 4

First mentions

Pages that answer buyers' questions start getting cited, and AI names you for some of them.

Months 4 to 6, and on

A bigger share of answers

Mentions on trusted sites build up, and you're named more often, for more questions.

Typical timing. AI answers change from one ask to the next, so we report how often you're named, not a single rank. Your first report shows where your store starts.

FAQs

GEO questions owners ask us

Something else on your mind? Book a free call.

What is generative engine optimization (GEO)?

GEO is the work that gets your brand named and recommended in AI answers: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode. For a store, it covers what AI can read on your site, your product data, pages that answer buyers' questions, and mentions on the sites AI trusts.

What's the difference between GEO and SEO?

SEO gets your pages ranked in Google's list of results. GEO gets your brand named inside the written answer. They share a foundation: Google says its AI answers need nothing extra beyond normal search. What changes is that answers name only a few brands, draw on sources beyond your site, change from one ask to the next, and are measured by how often you're named, not by rank.

We already have an SEO agency. Do we have to switch?

Yes, if you want GEO from us. GEO is built on the same pages, product data and technical setup as SEO, so two agencies would be changing the same things and nobody would own the result. We take over both as one plan, start by checking what your current agency has done, and keep what works. Your accounts and data stay yours.

Do I need SEO before GEO?

You need the basics: a store search engines can crawl and index, with pages that answer buyers' questions. Strong Google rankings also go hand in hand with being named in AI answers. That's why we run both as one plan, and fix the SEO gaps that hold back your GEO first.

How long does GEO take to work?

Some fixes show up fast: when AI bots were blocked, OpenAI says ChatGPT search picks up the change in about 24 hours, and other technical and product data fixes can show up within weeks. Being named more often usually takes 3 to 6 months, as your pages and mentions build. Answers vary from one ask to the next, so we track how often you're named across many asks.

Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend us?

No one honestly can. Neither OpenAI nor Google guarantees that any store will be shown. So we put part of our fee on the line instead: it depends on your sales growing. You get the work, a clear plan and honest numbers.

How do you measure GEO results?

Every month we ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity your buyers' questions many times and report how often you're named, and who's named instead. We pair that with AI referral traffic and sales in GA4, which now has its own AI channel, and the AI reports in Search Console and Bing where they're available.

Does llms.txt help?

Not today. No major AI company has said it uses llms.txt to decide what to cite, and Ahrefs found 97% of llms.txt files got zero requests in May 2026. It's cheap to add, so we may, but we'll never sell it to you as GEO.

Should I block AI bots?

Block the wrong ones and you disappear. Blocking OpenAI's search bot keeps you out of ChatGPT search answers, and some "block AI bots" settings now block Google and Bing too. You can block bots that only collect training data and still let in the ones that power search. We check your setup on the free call.

Do we need to rebuild our store?

No. We work inside your current platform and theme. When an app hides content from AI, like some review or spec apps, we change its settings, swap it for one that shows its content in the page's HTML, or work with your developer. Bigger changes only happen if you approve them.

Do you work with Shopify and WooCommerce stores?

Yes. Shopify stores that sell to US buyers are in ChatGPT's shopping results by default, so the edge comes from better product data and more mentions. For WooCommerce stores, Google Merchant Center and a store AI bots can read matter most today.

How much do GEO services cost?

It depends on your store's size, your category and how much of the work you want us to run. Our Growth Partnership is a monthly base fee plus a share of the sales growth above a starting point we set together. You get a clear quote after the free call.

Is traffic from AI worth it?

It's still a small share of visits for most stores, but it's growing fast and it buys well. In US retail in August 2026, shoppers who came from AI assistants converted 48% better than other visitors and spent 43% more per visit (Adobe).

Will ads in ChatGPT replace this?

Ads are arriving in AI answers, as they did on Google. OpenAI says its ads are kept apart from ChatGPT's own answers, and those answers are where GEO works. As with Google, a place in the free answers keeps paying off without a cost per click.
